Welcome Back!

We are so excited to welcome our students back for the 2025-2026 school year! Below you will find our new family newsletter, which will be sent out twice a month or more frequently if updates are needed.

Family feedback is important to us, as your support is crucial to our success! Please don't hesitate to reach out if you ever have an idea, question, or concern. You can stop by the office, call me at 568-4283, message me on ParentSquare, or email me at [email protected].

Immunizations- 8th Graders

The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services requires all incoming Kindergarten, 8th grade, and 12th grade students to to be immunized against preventable diseases.

Proof can be brought to your child's building office, Nurse Vicki in the Health Office, or to school on registration day. Immunizations are available from your local physician or at the Stoddard County Public Health Center, 568-4593.

Fall Sports Practices

The 2025 Fall Practice Schedule for Bloomfield High School & Junior High is set.

All dates, times, and locations are listed below.

Resident participants should contact the Central Office to complete necessary paperwork before practices start and to obtain the proper physical form.

Reminder: All athletes must have a current MSHSAA physical on file before participating.

Mindful Mornings

BMS will be trying something new this year! We will come inside a few minutes early in the morning to have a “morning meeting” with our first hour classes (7:50-8:00 am). We encourage ALL students to be on campus by 7:45 am to attend. We will review announcements, House news, and discuss topics to help your child navigate middle school. We will work on organization, growth mindset, social-emotional learning, and Wildcat Way character traits. Help us make the most of this time to set your child up for success at BMS!

NEW- ParentSquare

We’re excited to officially welcome you to our new communication platform, ParentSquare. This WILL replace all Remind, Class Dojo, etc apps we have used in the past. We will continue to use TeacherEase, which is the app where you can find your student's grades, attendance, lunch balances, etc.

From now on, you’ll receive district, school, and classroom updates here—right where you can easily access everything from your phone or computer. Whether it’s event reminders, forms, schedule changes, or classroom news, ParentSquare keeps all your school communication in one place.

You can also:

  • Choose how and when you receive messages- YOU WILL NEED TO UPDATE THIS IN YOUR NOTIFICATION PREFERENCES to receive immediate text messages or notifications.
  • Send and reply to messages from staff
  • View calendars and sign-ups
  • Fill out permission slips and forms
  • And more—all in your preferred language
